HOODPROF EDUCATIONAL AND EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION

HoodProf Education and Empowerment Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded by Biodun Akintemi, as a vehicle for the Nigerian child to realize its educational potentials through reading and learning in our physical and digital libraries.

We develop programmes and conduct activities towards ensuring that Nigerian children, especially those from underprivileged homes living in low income neighbourhoods/communities get access to educational and instructional materials, we support educators with modern instructional materials and help to further develop their skills by teaching them new techniques of imparting knowledge to their pupils/students.

AIM/OBJECTIVES OF HOODPROF

➡ To establish neighbourhood libraries in low income communities and grant free access to indigent or underprivileged pupils/students.

➡ To engender reading culture amongst young Nigerians, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.

➡ To establish support schemes for charity, scholarships for qualified and underprivileged students/pupils. 

➡ To support public schools in low income suburbs with educational/instructional materials, equipment and teaching aids needed to impact knowledge to the youngsters

➡ To establish employment and skills acquisition programmes for qualified and underprivileged students
